Total Testing Solutions has partnered up with Westpac Labs to offer safe COVID-19 testing services for those who are traveling to Hawai'i. Westpac Labs is an approved partner of the State of Hawai'i’s Trusted Testing and Travel Partners Program.
How it Works
Step 1
Schedule and pay for your test appointment online or on site. The time you select for your appointment should not be any earlier than 72 hours prior to the departure of the last leg/city of your trip.
Standard tests cost $270.00 per person for results within 24 - 48 hours, the latest 72 hours. [No insurance is accepted]
Step 2
Drive to the lab site according to the instructions sent to you via email. Be sure to bring your photo ID or passport and your appointment confirmation with you.
You’ll be instructed to be checked-in while staying inside your car. Then, your sample will be collected by our staff. If you do not have a car, walk-ups are acceptable.
Step 3
You will receive two notifications via text and email:
- 1st notification: A registration link from Westpac Labs
- 2nd notification: A PDF form that is required for entry to Hawai'i, a PDF copy of your NAAT/RT-PCR test results, and instructions from the Hawai'i government
Step 4
Once your results are received, upload your negative results in PDF format to your State of Hawai'i Safe Travels account prior to the departure of the last leg of your trip. We also recommend bringing a printed copy of your results.
FAQs
What am I required to do before traveling to Hawai'i?
All travelers must create an online account on the State of Hawai'i's Safe Travels Hawai'i website and enter your trip information. Within 24 hours of your departure, you are required to complete the State of Hawai'i Travel and Health Form via your Safe Travels account.
- Adults traveling with children will add their children to their account.
- Travelers five years of age and older will need to take a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT)/ RT-PCR Test from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab.
Will I be responsible for testing costs?
Yes. All individuals required to complete pre-travel testing must pay for testing costs. The test cost is $270, the payment can be cash or card.
What is the State of Hawai'i testing requirement?
You will be required to complete a NAAT/RT-PCR test no more than 72 hours before your flight’s departure time. If you have a multi-city flight itinerary, the departure time is from the last city you leave before arriving at a Hawai‘i airport (e.g. if your travel is from Chicago to Seattle to Honolulu, the departure time to look at is your flight from Seattle).
- A RT-PCR test is a form of NAAT test, and if taken with a Trusted Testing and Travel Partner, will be valid in the Safe Travels program
- You must upload your negative pre-travel test result to your Safe Travels Hawai'i program account and link it to your trip. Upon completion of the Mandatory State of Hawai'i Travel and Health Form 24 hours prior to departure, a QR code will be emailed to you to present to airport personnel either prior to boarding or when you arrive in Hawai'i.

WestPac Labs. It is an approved partner of the State of Hawai'i's Trusted Testing and Travel Partners Program. Be sure to provide an accurate and complete email and phone number for your results.
How long is the test results turnaround?
WestPac Labs test turnaround is a minimum of 24-48 hours, the latest 72 hours from samples being received at the lab for results and travel documents.
What happens if your NAAT/RT-PCR test is positive?
Any result that is rendered positive will not render a Hawai'i form but will direct you to quarantine.
Who generates the form that is required for Hawai'i?
